Six Alleged Members of the ‘Three Percenters’ Militia Indicted Over Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

Six alleged members of the Three Percenters right-wing militia group have been charged with conspiring to attack the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced. The six defendants named indictment are: Allan Hostetter, 56, Russell Taylor, 40, Erik Scott Warner, 45, Felipe Antonio “Tony” Martinez, 47, Derek Kinnison, 39, and Ronald Mele, 51. All six are from California. According to a federal indictment, which was returned by a grand jury in the District of Columbia on Wednesday and made public on Thursday, the group is now facing charges of conspiracy, obstructing an official proceeding, and unlawful entry on restricted building or grounds. Taylor is also charged with obstructing law enforcement during a civil disorder and unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon on Capitol grounds.
